MOSCOW (Sputnik) — The Turkish Armed Forces killed 34 Daesh (IS) terrorists in northern Syria, local media reported on Monday.
According to the Turkish Anadolu news agency, terrorist positions have been shelled by the T-155 Firtina (Storm) self-propelled howitzer and long-range artillery.
For months, Turkey's southern districts have been subjected to shelling from the territories in Syria occupied by Daesh terrorists. Turkish troops deployed in the vicinity of the country's border with Syria retaliate by shelling positions belonging to the terrorist group, which is outlawed in a number of countries, including Russia.
