Erdogan Urges US to Recognize Syrian Kurdish PYD Group as Terrorists
GENEVA (Sputnik) — A new round of talks between the Syrian government and opposition in Geneva will be held between March 14 and 24. Two Kurdish parties, including PYD, were not invited to join the talks.

"We have no other frame but Geneva to talk. The talks should be among Syrians," Muslim said.

He confirmed that the members of his party had not received invitations to the upcoming talks.

Syrian Kurds have been fighting against Daesh militant group in Syria, which is outlawed in many countries, including Russia. The PYD claims that its participation in the intra-Syrian talks was blocked by Ankara because of its assumed links to the pro-independence Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK), active in southeastern Turkey, and declared a terrorist organization by Ankara.
