Daesh Attacks Iraqi Town of Taza With Chemical Weapons - Militia Spokesman
MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Earlier in the day, a spokesman for Shiite militia al-Hashd ash-Shaabi said that Daesh had used chemical weapons for the attack on Taza, launching two missiles rigged with toxic substances. According to media reports, local authorities believe that militants have used chlorine gas.

According to the statement, Abadi pledged that the attack, which has left at least one dead and hundreds affected, would not remain "unpunished," at a meeting with notable figures from Taza and the village of Bashir.

Daesh is a terrorist group outlawed in several countries, including Russia and the United States. The group, which has seized large areas in Iraq and Syria, is notorious for numerous terror attacks, including those involving chemical weapons.
