Robert F. Kennedy Jr. told Sputnik in an exclusive interview that most Americans are unaware that Washington aims to overthrow democratically elected Syrian government.

In his recent op-ed article for Politico Magazine, US attorney and nephew of US President John Fitzgerald Kennedy — Robert F. Kennedy Jr. wrote that the US decided to remove Syrian President Bashar al-Assad from power after he refused to back a Qatari gas pipeline project.

The CIA went ahead with this plan after the multi-billion dollar pipeline project first surfaced in 2000, years before the Arab Spring uprising in Syria took place.

The project was aimed to build a gas link from Qatar through Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Syria and Turkey to Europe.

Kennedy writes that if completed, the pipeline would have had major geopolitical implications. For example it would have given “the Sunni kingdoms of the Persian Gulf decisive domination of world natural gas markets and strengthen Qatar, America's closest ally in the Arab world.”

The gas link would have also provided Ankara with ‘rich transit fees’, the author added. This all clearly indicates that the Syrian conflict is not a civil war for greater rights or representation, but a violent foreign-sponsored insurgency aimed at bringing a business project to life.

Radio Sputnik spoke with Robert F. Kennedy Jr. to learn more about his research.

“If we study the history of America’s relation with Mideast and looking at the US’ violent intervention in Syria, Iraq, Jordan, Saudi Arabia and Egypt over time and the extraordinary and astonishing thing is the solid record of the cataclysmic failure every time we venture there in violent fashion. Most Americans are completely unaware of us attempting to overthrow the democratically elected government in Syria, contrary to our own state department policy and contrary to American values.”

Kennedy Jr. went on to say that this has resulted in severe blow backs for the US. He spoke about the US and Syria’s relations and how they both fought beside each other in World War II against the French who controlled Syria at the time.

“After the war the Syrian people tried to introduce a US fashioned democracy in Syria. The elected president’s big mistake was that he was reticent about building an Arabian pipeline as the US energy project and because of that CIA overthrew him. Six years later they again tried to overthrow him and this time their attempt failed and it was highly publicized and it caused riots.”

He spoke about how the CIA agents tried to murder the Syrian chief of staff by bribing the Syrian military but that plan backfired and the Syrian government expelled all of the US diplomats from Syria.

Kennedy Jr. also talked about CIA engineered involvement in Iraq which essentially brought Saddam Hussein to power. He also mentioned how Muammar Gadhafi managed to keep Libya stable.

Kennedy also spoke about the upcoming US election and who he thinks should be president.

Stop using the US bankrupt dollar and it will implode on itself.

Smart analysis from a decent man! So, being a Kennedy, would he really vote Trump?

hans.schultz, Just like the British Empire the American Empire is mostly the tool of the international bankers who are primarily, though not exclusively Zionist. However, the latter were/are totally dependent upon the former to be their enforcers and protectors as well as to prop up their financial system. They are totally dependent on each other for their collective survival. The British are very much the junior partner now that the British Empire is defunct.

terryjohnodgers, You are correct to the extent that there is a factor in the equation that usually gets neglected, and that is as you say the power behind the thrones of Europe. It dovetails with the system of international banking but isn't the same as it. They are always present at the Bilderberg meetings, but just what they do there is obscure. You contend that they are the dominant element over the bankers while my contention is that they are of equal importance and are in partnership with them. I must respectfully agree to disagree with you. But I do appreciate you reminding me of these other people.

Randall Lee Hilburn, you got it all upside down!
The zionist bankers have always been the errand boys of the real elite, that like to be hidden in obscurity. It's more powerful to be operating from the unseen than the seen.
The zionist bankers are like so blatantly exposed so as to at any time they can be flushed by the powers behind. And the US elites are and have been, since probably around the death of Lincoln, junior partners to the really European elites.
So in short, you only see the puppets, not the puppeteers!

Randall Lee Hilburn, thank you. There is another power that is a play here also, and a power that dwells under a façade of Christianity, but is in fact a monster that only those whose eyes are firmly open can open appreciate - the Catholic Church or more specifically, the Vatican that controls it.

That is where the real power lies.

Winston Churchill once stated that when people find out who really controls the world and after they pick themselves up, they simply continue on with their lives, or words to that effect.

terryjohnodgers, Yes the Roman Catholic Church would also have to be a player. As of 2002 they were the second largest non-governmental owner of land in the entire world. Behind only McDonalds (Yes that McDonalds!). Most of their respective fortunes derive from real estate. The vast bulk of the land ownership is hidden behind various fronts always several layers deep.
Because of my profession I had to do research that brought this situation to light for me. That's how I know about it. Threw researching land ownership.
Once one becomes aware of just how economically powerful such entities are, you can easily see why they would have to be involved in any system of global governance, overt or covert.

terryjohnodgers, I always read you here on Sputnik and thank you for your con
tribution. It is difficult to reply to your comment and that of Randall below. We must remember that the Church did own, buy, manage, donated hundreds if not thousands of convents, monasteries, hospitals, churches, chapels, rereat centres, universities, in most cities and in most countries. Her mission started 2000 years ago. For that time, yes, she has been accumulating properties.
That is normal if one looks at the benefits which the world harvested.
One must understand well that, just like the political and social life of the world was infiltrated by destructive Forces in the 30's and 40's, so has the Church been heavily infiltrated by enemies( often from secret societies) and these enemies had their day of glory during and after the Council of 62-65....The latter caused the
    destruction of the Faith

Sorry, am writing on a small tablet right now. The only TEST WE NEED TO WITNESS FROM THE AUTHORITIES IS WHETHER THE POPE DOES THE CONSECRATION OF RUSSIA. IF YES, WE ARE SAVED. O.k. I am stopping here. Good night all. Oremus.

Randall Lee Hilburn, my apologies for the late response. I agree with your assessment and it opens that old argument about how much money is just too much in the hands of some.

I would venture to add that very few of today's 'billionaires' are not involved in some kind of political interference either inside the globalist tent or outside of it.

It has been a long road of learning on my own part as to what and who controls at least the Western aspects of the world's population, and I do try to keep an open mind on anything at all, no matter how obscure or impossible it at first appears because behind every story one will find snippets of a much larger picture.

Joseph P. Farrell has much to offer in this regard as an author and his scholarly books present much valuable evidence for those who wish to further expand on their knowledge - and as they say - knowledge is power.

armor, thank you for the kind words. I was baptized Catholic received my confirmation at age 12 and was married in the Church. Please try to imagine how difficult it has been for me to uncover what the 'Church' is really all about.

Those things you attribute to the 'goodness' of the Church are really a cover for the wider reaching tentacles that once intruded into everybody's life. The Church once controlled everything and to some extent still has a hold over many aspects of the West.

If you dare you could start to understand how the real church operates by reading a book titled, The Vatican Ratlines, which will give you some understanding of background machinations within the Catholic Church.

The Church has been corrupt for many, many centuries.

terryjohnodgers, The Plutocratic elite that runs this planet in partnership with each other can be broken down into the following categories, not necessarily in order of importance: (1)Zionist international bankers, (2)Non-Jewish international bankers, (3)Particularly powerful multinational corporations like Monsanto for example, (4)Roman Catholic Church, (5)Old European royalty such as the Windsor's (Hannover's). From everything that I have ever seen, great wealth always attracts great wealth, and it all combines against everybody else, to gain even more money, power, and prestige. Behind the scenes where the real decisions are made effecting our fates.

I have read several of Farrell's books as well as heard some interviews of him. I read "Babylon's Banksters" at one sitting as I recall. I have learned a lot from him.
  • Randall Lee Hilburn in reply toarmor(Show commentHide comment)
armor, The properties I was referring to were never publicly acknowledged to be owned by the Church. Unlike the properties you referred to. What I was talking about were large tracts of highly valuable commercial or resource rich real estate. The Church was engaged in land speculation, not religion in this case. Else why would they try so hard to hide their ownership.

Some of my relatives are Catholic, and I have known many Catholics, including priests and nuns who were basically decent people, so I don't mean my comments to be directed against everybody who is Catholic. But I do mean them against the organization.

Randall Lee Hilburn, thank you Randall - I believe we are on the same page. TRUTH catches many of us unaware as to how the world really operates.

terryjohnodgers, I went threw the same thing myself many years ago when the church I had dedicated myself to was proven to be nothing but a colossal swindle on the part of a closely connected group of families of Crypto-Jews. It angers me when I see people who only want to do what is right get swindled by organized religion. Knowing as I do what they're going threw I truly feel sorry for those who are having the traumatic experience of being woken up to the truth. I have seen it totally destroy the faith of a great many people. My faith survived but only in the form of a personal religion. I refuse to have anything to do with organized religion after what I went threw and what I learned about it. As far as organized religion is concerned Karl Marx was correct when he called religion the "Opiate Of The Masses." It reminds me of an anonymous quote that has been making its rounds where I live. "God made spirituality, man made religion."
  • terryjohnodgersin reply toRandall Lee Hilburn (Show commentHide comment)
Randall Lee Hilburn, indeed, whoever God is I'm sure whatever God is did not mean for humanity to live through the writings of any 'book'. My experience in life has taught me that spirituality is a personal matter that no other person can instruct anyone on. We come to this world to learn what it is to be human and on that score, Mark Twain once quipped, that for everyone there are two important facts to life, the first is to be born and the second is to find out why we were born.

I will continue to learn as I experience life with a whole new outlook on why we are really here.

Thank you for your enlightening responses it has been a pleasure communicating with you, hopefully we can do some more soon.

terryjohnodgers, and Randall, thank you for your interesting input here on Sputnik, our site in Life... :)
To Terry in particular, I think I understand your mind, at least partially. I will never judge any one on these matters. I will say to you, just in passing, that a traditional wing of the Church does exist all right( since 1970 + --), is vibrant and strong, and growing.
I wish to both of you a fruitful continuation of our struggle for a better, just, multi-polar world, we have our conscience which actually tells us what is good , what is evil, and that is a good indication of what Providence does.
Great things are happening, will happen soon, in the meantime, I hope our Mother Russia become even stronger against a world possessed by the devil. Keep well, both of you. Pax.
  • terryjohnodgersin reply toarmor(Show commentHide comment)
armor, thank you again for your kind words. I too do not judge those who truly believe in Holy Mother the Church. Life is for everyone to explore and to learn from that experience, many do not bother to learn why we are here and fall into all kinds of traps that their being never learns from.

Between Putin and Trump - if Trump can manage to stay alive long enough - the World, particularly the Western part, stands to gain much from their leadership.
