A Syrian man recorded a video of his teenage jihadi son killing himself in a suicide attack in Syria’s Aleppo, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR).

The "martyrdom operation" of a 15-year-old boy named Abu Amarah al-Omari was carried out when the car he was in exploded at al-Sakhur area, in the province of Aleppo, the UK-based non-profit organization reported Sunday.

Abu Amarah blew "himself up in a booby trapped vehicle" as he was fighting among jihadists since 2015 when his father signed him up in a "martyrdom operation".

His family fled to the Daesh-controlled town of Qabasin, situated in the northeastern countryside of Aleppo.

The tape started with a conversation between the teenager and an alleged Daesh member carrying a weapon. Next the video depicted Abu Amarah who explained his commitment to be a jihadi and his father approvingly bowing his head.

The next episode contains a fire on the Dabeq hill in the northern countryside of Aleppo where the teenage reportedly detonated his explosives.

Questions remain as the video has not been fully verified.

The SOHR said that Daesh took the lives of 350 children out of 1800 recruited in 2015 and at least 48 of them were killed in suicide attacks by using explosive belts or car bombs.

What I think of that so called 'father' is not printable on this site. But, this example of how an ideology can be used to commit all kinds of horrendous and barbaric killings based on an after death reward in 'heaven' should be a lesson to all who bother to note that Islam by its own definition is NOT a religion that we in the West understand religion to be, and is completely alien to what we hold and value in our lives.

terryjohnodgers, let's not muddy things here. this is about as hardline as Salafism gets. Islam has other manifestations.

cmat.wolfgang, it's very difficult to understand this mindset from a secular perspective. Even in a desperate war zone like Syria, it takes a frightening degree of radicalization for anyone to do something like this.

That's why block by block, Syria MUST have sappers, to barricade the town or block with enough checkpoints.
Meanwhile Russia should develop a drone that can detect car bombs and belts. Under any circumstance . Car checkpoints should have at least 2 gates. And not in straight line. The second should be in angle and with a heavy gate. this will at least partially, end the blasts .
  • this father should be hunted down in honor of his child, in honor of Islam, in honor of Syria, in honor of the United Nations and whole entire world.

further this mission should after success become a clear and present threat that special forces of all nations will find the father/mothers/instigators who turn children into weapons.

atleast if i had powers i would do this.

On the same day that the Syrian Armed Forces liberated the Al-Safira Plains in east Aleppo, the Islamic State of Iraq and Al-Sham (ISIS) returned the favor by cutting the government’s only supply route along the Ithriyah-Khanasser Road, which ultimately leads to the Aleppo Governorate. According to an Al-Masdar correspondent in Damascus, ISIS captured Rasm Al-Nafal after launching a surprise assault on the National Defense Forces’ (NDF) positions inside this small village in the Aleppo Governorate’s southeastern countryside.

    ultravi01et,
is there any Religion other than Islam who supports such mass killings of innocent People? Okay, the term "innocent" in the wider sense is maybe questionable, but what knows the bomber about the People he kills?
  • For those who doesn't understand @ to comprehend Islam.. (Thanks Mo Riahi from fb comment)

He is not a father, he is a disgrace for parenthood.
I suspect him to have sold his son's life for a few dollars or to save his own miserable life. How can a father send his son to go blow himself for a wrong cause.
All monotheist religions are clear in this point. " Thou shall not kill yourself "
The poor kid was no martyr, he was just obbeying his father, after being brainwashed by the satanists that call themselves moslem. The jihad have been misinterpreted. The word jihad means struggle, work hard, make yourself a better life.
The jihad is not ment for death but for life.
    Poor kid

ultravi01et, Apparently my reply to your comment was not permitted regardless of how truthful it was. Suffice it to say though, nowhere have I attempted to even color the waters, let alone muddy them. Perhaps your own understanding of Islam is faulty.

And to the moderator who deleted my previous comment - perhaps your own knowledge of what Islam truly represents needs to be improved upon. I have nine (9) articles concerning Islam and Islamic practice in the Australian National Library - how many do you have?
  • anyone who needs to learn/know Islam.. go to the right place.. not library..or some kinda books you purchased.. just like if you really needs to know a certain community.. mixed with them.. learn from them.. you don't even have to embraced their religion.. But if you need to know more about terrorism.. just study the ideology.. you'll know it.. especially when it's all contradicted with the way of normal loving peaceful live.. No one will embraced a religion that teaches you to kill and harm others .. that's not a religion.. that's an ideology.. just like the jihadist of wahabbism.. Wahabbism is an ideology not a sect (as they would always claimed) created by Abdul Wahhab in the 1918 with the 1st Saud.. accepted by the inbreed British monarch in 1930s (due to its fanatical ideology in its teachings) for the inbreed bedouin nomads monarch that they picked for their future interests.. which is what we witnessing now..!

nshahhsh, your comment has much knowledge to it while the ignorant pretend nice things about a 'religion' that does not deserve the niceties afforded to it.

My articles are part of islammonitor.org that is still available for viewing on the web and is used as a reference source for those accessing the Australian National Library. All articles have their bibliography listed so that anyone can check on the author's sources for authenticity.

My articles are listed under the title Nemesis and my website is http// nemesispeaks.com
  • Is it because I am black?in reply tocmat.wolfgang(Show commentHide comment)
cmat.wolfgang, well, but fact is that they do kill themselves voluntarily in the process, while most soldiers kill with at least the hope to survive their victims. I find that egotistical and usually mercenary aspect even more vile.
And I certainly do have problems with suicide. No suicide is ever pure, the one who kills himself kills others in himself even if he is not committing an open suicide attempt. And conversely, those others within himself may be the one's forcing him into suicide, like the proverbial fanatic imam, but also relatives, friends.
Suicide is always murder, and the question is by whom?

terryjohnodgers, true, see my comment to cmat.wolfgang.

Is it because I am black?, it is my opinion that every one is meant to live their lives in this world until their 'use by date' comes up - unless they depart via an 'accident' or circumstance not foreseen and beyond their control.

Your understanding of life has much merit to it, and that is what sets Christianity/Judaism apart from that other 'religion' that is more political ideology based on conquest than spiritual guidance for the individual.
  • As I had mentioned it here b4..

it happens in all Devine Religions.. that's where Daesh, IRA, Zionist came into the pictures.. one after another.. All these fanatics are just to feed their lusts for the worldly gains.. If you praised Talmud instead of Torah.. you'll get what we have in the land of Palestine.. if you blindly interpret the Quran you can have a look at the Middle East.. same goes with IRA.... IT'S ALL ABOUT HOW THE GODLESS SCUMBS USES THESE METHODS AS TOOLS..!

I don't learned about Christianity(Bible) thru library.. or the Islam (Quran) there at the library.. Every divine religion had been tampered and fabricates throughout the history.. Christianity exists 300yrs after the demised of Jesus (Isa as).. and most of the Islamic sects too are not spared by all the fabrications.. As a matter of facts.. in Bible there's a lot of contradictions in the same book.. how can we say that's the word of The Almighty..? They changed the Bible whenever they changed Pope.. in every sect be it Islam or Christianity or any other Devine religion.. there are always fanatics who changes God's words for their own interests.. learn the old testament you'll understand it.. from there, continue to the Injil then read the Quran.. then you'll get it.. Regarding the interpretation of.. be it Bible @ Quran.. there are so many interpreter with so many different types of understanding.. but called it ideology.. The Torah, Injil and the Quran are easily being comprehend.. those are the words of God.. and definitely God know how to make us understand what He's trying to deliver @ addressed it to us. There's a lot to say here but just stop it.. If you wanna know me.. of course you would ask my friends about me.. not my foe @ enemies as you'll get the sh#t out of me from them.. As for me.. I will always bare in mind that.. Every religions teaches all the goodness of being a human..! It is the ideology by using religion that's what we are witnessing now in this world.. even atheist praised for peace of the mankind.. TQ.. salaam
  • In the old testament (Torah).. Moses asked his followers to have sword and kill each other in order to repent to God.. That was the old way of repenting for those people of Moses's time in order to be accepted by God.. That was in Torah.. Every Devine Book had been upgraded by God.. and why do you think that the Muslims had to embraced/beliefs in the Torah Injil and Quran plus with all the Prophets..? It's one of the tenets to be a Muslim .. in Quran we have the whole chapter of Moses and Jesus (Isa).. which is not even in the Bible or in any library.. TQ

Did the boy kill Dahesh members? It sounds like it from the way this article is written. I make that comment because of this line in the article: "His family fled to the Daesh-controlled town of Qabasin, situated in the northeastern countryside of Aleppo."

If you are fighting For Dahesh, why would you flee them?
  • His family fled to the Daesh-controlled town of Qabasin,
Instead of to the government controlled area..!

The point is... The family fled TO the daesh controlled territory..!
