"Two terrorists, but not suicide bombers, have been detained" in Sayyidah Zaynab, home to a Shiite shrine of the Syrian capital Damascus, where deadly blasts killed at least 80 people, according to a police source.

BEIRUT (Sputnik) – Two suspected organizers of the series of suicide attacks and a car bomb blast have been arrested south of the Syrian capital of Damascus as news emerged of the death toll climbing to 80, a police source told RIA Novosti on Sunday.

"According to the information at the moment, 80 people were killed, over 200 wounded, emergency vehicles continue to bring in the injured and the bodies," the unnamed Damascus police source said.

The source added that "two terrorists, but not suicide bombers, have been detained" in Sayyidah Zaynab, home to a Shiite shrine.
