Missile Attack in Syria's Latakia Leaves 1 Killed, Several Injured

A missile attack has hit the town of Qardahah in the Syrian province of Latakia, media reported Monday.

LATAKIA (Sputnik) — According to the Lebanese television channel Al Mayadeen, one person was killed and several more were injured as a result of the attack in the Latakia province. A total of four rockets are said to have hit the town.

No information about the direction from which the attack was carried out was immediately available.

None of the terrorist groups active in the region has yet claimed responsibility for the incident.
