A mechanic, two airport policemen, and a baggage handler were reportedly detained on suspicion they collaborated in bringing a bomb on board the Russian A321 passenger jet.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) – An EgyptAir mechanic and three other individuals are suspected of their involvement in the fatal crash of the Russian A321 passenger jet crash over the Sinai Peninsula that killed all 224 on board, Reuters reported on Friday.

The news agency cited sources who wished to remain anonymous that the mechanic, two airport policemen, and a baggage handler had been detained on suspicion they collaborated in bringing a bomb on board the aircraft.
