ANKARA (Sputnik) – Turkey's Daily Sabah publication claims the rocket was fired from northern Syria's Azaz district, which it says is "partially" under the control of Daesh terrorists.
"A projectile allegedly fired from Syrian territory, exploded in the Karaali area of our city. Several buildings have been damaged, two people sustained light injuries and were hospitalized," a statement posted on the Kilis governor’s website said.
On Monday, at least one employee died after a mortar struck a school in Kilis. The Turkish military struck back on positions allegedly held by Daesh.
