Second Humanitarian Aid Convoy Leaves Damascus for Syria’s Besieged Madaya
MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Moscow is particularly concerned with humanitarian situation in the Syrian western towns of Madaya, Foah and Kafraya, the press service added.

"It is required now that all parties to the Syrian conflict, as well as states that have influence on them, make every effort to facilitate the delivery of humanitarian aid, particularly to settlements besieged and blocked by militants from terrorist [groups] Nusra Front, Ahrar al-Sham and Jaysh al-Islam," the statement reads.

Syria has been in a state of civil war since 2011. The country’s government is fighting a number of opposition forces, as well as radical Islamist militant organizations.
