TEL AVIV/MOSCOW(Sputnik) – At least two people have been killed in the shooting that occurred in a pub in central Tel Aviv, the Israeli police foreign press spokesman said Friday.
Earlier in the day, an unidentified gunman opened fire in the bar in one of the busiest areas of downtown Tel Aviv.
"Police units concentrating on searching buildings in the area w[h]ere the shooting incident took place. 2 people confirmed dead. 5 injured," Superintendent Micky Rosenfeld wrote on Twitter.

Police officers are currently examining the CCTV footage of the incident, he added.
All the people who sustained both minor and serious injuries during the shooting have been immediately hospitalized.
