The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) carried out numerous operations across the country, killing terrorist leaders and destroying militant infrastructure, including in the provinces of Aleppo, Homs, Hama and Idlib, the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) reported, citing unnamed military sources.

Syrian warplanes launched airstrikes against Daesh strongholds in the villages of Ein al-Jamajmeh, Eisheh, Nejarah, Sarhan and Jeb al-Qahwa. The Syrian Air Force also hit al-Nusra Front targets in the villages of al-Mansourah and al-Misherfeh, located in the area, which the media outlet recently described as the terrorist lifeline to Turkey.

Damascus-led forces also destroyed military hardware, including trucks outfitted with machineguns, in the village of Rasm al-Kama, as well as the towns of Deir Hafer and Manbej.

The SAA carried out counterterrorism operations in several neighborhoods of the provincial capital, including al-Sheikh Lutfi, al-Ramouseh, Salah Eddin, al-Rashidin, al-Fardous and al-Salehin.

Damascus-led forces continued their operation to liberate the Homs province, including the world-famous ancient city of Palmyra. The Syrian army destroyed several Daesh strongholds and military equipment in Mhein and al-Qaryatain.
