Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has named the new chief of the country’s foreign intelligence agency, the Mossad.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) — According to The Jerusalem Post’s Monday report, Yossi Cohen, currently the head of the National Security Council, will become the 12th head of the Mossad.

The current intelligence chief, Tamir Pardo, will step down in January after heading the agency for five years.
