CAIRO (Sputnik) — A military helicopter of the Egyptian Armed Forces crashed early Saturday outside Egypt’s capital due to a technical malfunction, a military spokesman said.
The helicopter came down at exactly 9:25 a.m. local time (7:25GMT) near a highway that links Cairo with the city of Ismailia in northeastern Egypt, close to the Islamist-infested Sinai Peninsula.
