BEIRUT (Sputnik) – The Anonymous group reportedly announced on Saturday that it discovered a list of places where ISIL allegedly planned to conduct terrorist attacks on November 22. The university in the town of Kaslik near Beirut was among the reported locations.

"Yes, we are considering seriously the possibility of a terrorist attack at the University of Kaslik. The institution’s authorities cancelled the event scheduled for tomorrow," the source said.

On November 12, twin blasts hit Beirut’s Burj al-Barajneh neighborhood. At least 43 people died and 239 were injured, according to the Red Cross. The ISIL jihadist group claimed responsibility for the attack.

The Anonymous group declared a cyberwar against the ISIL in the wake of the deadly Paris attacks on November 13, threatening to expose Twitter accounts affiliated with the group and disturb their communications through spam.

According to the hacktivists, ISIL is reportedly targeting other locations including Paris, Rome and Milan, as well as sites in Indonesia and the United States.
