RT Editor-in-Chief Dismisses Links Between Tel Aviv Attack, Channel Policy

There is no connection between RT television channel information policy and Thursday's stabbing attack on a business center in Tel Aviv where the channel's Middle East bureau is headquartered, the broadcaster's editor-in-chief, Margarita Simonyan, said.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Two people have fallen victim to a stabbing attack on the Panorama business center, one was injured and taken to hospital.

"All of our employees are alive, we do not tend to associate [the incident] with the information policy of the channel," Simonyan told RIA Novosti Thursday.

The attack is the latest in a series of deadly stabbing incidents attributed to the Palestinian-Israeli tensions since mid-September.
