Syrian Conflict Can’t Be Resolved Without Kremlin, Russia’s Isolation Over
WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — The United States is continuing its airstrikes against the Islamic State in Syria, and will incorporate the deconfliction steps when they get worked out by Moscow and Washington, Operation Inherent Resolve Spokesman Steve Warren said on Thursday.

“We are continuing the airstrikes. We have not altered operations in Syria to accommodate new players on the battlefield,” Warren told reporters.

“I know there is some steps being taken in Washington to work the deconfliction piece, we are continuing with our operations, and as the deconfliction process gets worked out, we will incorporate those in our daily operations,” he added.

“I have not yet seen anything militarily to indicate that the Russians are close to striking anything in Iraq,” Warren stated.
