Information on casualties among civilians appeared in Western media before Russian arcraft left ground, Russian President Vladimir Putin said Thursday.

Media reports about civilians in Syria allegedly being killed by Russian airstrikes appeared before Russian aircraft even left the ground, President Vladimir Putin said Thursday.

"As for any information in the media on civilians suffering [from Russian airstrikes], we were ready for such information attacks. I draw your attention to the fact that the first reports on civilian casualties emerged before our planes even left the ground," Putin said at a meeting of the Russian Council for Civil Society and Human Rights.

Russia launched an aerial campaign on Wednesday, at the request of Syrian President Bashar Assad, targeting eight IS military hardware, arms and fuel depots. Almost immediately, Western media outlets carried reports of civilian casualties.

The Russian Defense Ministry has confirmed that it has already carried out some 20 combat missions in Syria since the campaign started, striking at least eight ISIL targets.

Maybe , just maybe, those who spread lies, who attacked many countries in the past few years, destroying them in the process, may be they will at last find their "Road to Damascus" instead of the air attacks, they will be converted like St Paul was on his way to Damascus......how many centuries ago...just to show in passing that Syria is an OLD, OLD country which saw the very beginning of Christianity and that the decadent agressors of today will someday have to answer questions that the world will ask them...
Right now, our hope is on Russia, a country which has also been chosen very specially by Our Lady of Fatima in 1917. Now to have been chosen by Heaven not many countries can claim that fact. Russia has a Mission on this Earth.

They say russian news outlets are the propaganda arm of the kremlin , ok fine and i would gladly believe that but for some strange reason EVERYTHING i read or see on RT or Sputnik somehow turns out to be true and their " free press " is exposed as lies over and over again .This report of 65 civillian deaths from tussian air strikes is just the latest lie bomb they try to drop on us all. Well forgive us if we dont believe you anymore
