At least 17 Saudi special security members were killed in the suspected suicide bombing, the broadcaster said.
On May 22, a suicide bomber carried out an attack at a Shia mosque in Saudi Arabia's Eastern Province, killing over 20 people and injuring more than 100 others. A week after the incident, another Shia mosque in eastern Saudi Arabia was hit by a suicide bombing that killed four people, including the bomber. The Islamic State claimed responsibility for both attacks.
