Five TV Journalists Killed by ISIL in Libya
17:33 GMT 27.04.2015 (Updated: 17:35 GMT 27.04.2015) Five journalists working for a Libyan TV station were killed by ISIL militants in the east of the country, Faraj al-Barassi, a district army commander in eastern Libya, said on Monday.
The bodies of the reporters were found in the city of Bayda. Militants loyal to the Islamic State are responsible for the murder of the reporters, al-Barassi confirmed.
The journalists went missing in the city of Tobruk en route to Benghazi in August, 2014. Their route took them through Derna, an Islamist hotspot.
