Iran and P5+1 group have started a plenary meeting on Tehran's nuclear program in Lausanne, a Sputnik correspondent reported Monday.

LAUSANNE (Sputnik) A fresh round of talks between Iran and P5+1 group, comprising Russia, the United States, the United Kingdom, France, China and Germany is currently taking place in Lausanne.

On Sunday, P5+1 foreign ministers held a plenary session without Iran's participation.

The West accuses Iran of trying to develop nuclear weapons. Tehran has repeatedly denied this claim.

A new round of P5+1 talks with Tehran began in Lausanne on Thursday, and is expected to continue until March 31, according to a source in Iranian delegation.
