SANAA (Sputnik) According to Al Jazeera channel, Houthi fighters started moving artillery from the Yemeni capital of Sanaa to the Al-Baqaa region close to the territory of Saudi Arabia.

Saudi Arabia is leading the coalition of countries conducting airstrikes on Houthi positions in Sanaa. The strikes started on Wednesday following the request of ousted Yemeni President Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi.

The United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, Jordan, Morocco, Sudan, Pakistan and Egypt form the coalition, alongside Saudi Arabia, while the United States provides intelligence, targeting and logistical support.

Earlier on Saturday it was reported that the coalition carried out airstrikes targeting ammunition storage facilities in the Yemeni capital.
