At least 26 Islamic State terrorists were killed by airstrikes carried out by the Syrian Air Force in the central province of Hama, the Syrian Observatory for Human rights said.
During the warplanes’ assault on a column of ISIL military vehicles near the town of Hamadi Omar, two terrorist commanders were killed. One of them was identified as Deeb Hedijan al-Otaibi, a self-appointed governor, according to local media.
The Islamic State is a militant group that has taken over large portions of Syria and Iraq, and declared a caliphate there.
