Some pets have strange habits and preferences; a big white rabbit called Pinpon, who lives with a family in the Peruvian province of Huaura, is no exception. The naughty pet regularly left his owner's home to chill out in an abandoned nearby house.

Pinpon would run away but always returned home soon, the rabbit's owner explained. She pointed out that her pet always became more playful after his little visits to the neighbor's.

Noticing that the self-sufficient bunny had started to run away from home on a regular basis, the woman decided to spy him. "I followed him and caught him eating strange green grass in an area, where nobody lives," she told the local press.

After the addicted pet's owner shared the strange story with her neighbors, one of the family's closest friends decided to find out what kind of grass the rabbit was munching on. It turned out to be marijuana.

Police arrived at the scene. Weed was uprooted and dope-addicted Pinpon was put under house arrest.
