Rousseff’s Impeachment Process Continues to Gain Momentum
MOSCOW (Sputnik) — On Tuesday, Supreme Court Justice Teori Zavascki authorized an investigation into the embattled president on charges of obstructing justice in a multibillion-dollar bribery and bid-rigging case.

"The decision will help establish the facts and show there has never been obstruction of justice. The truth will prevail," the office wrote in a statement.

Rousseff is already under scrutiny in a different case. The Senate will vote in August whether to impeach her on accusations she concealed the country’s budget deficit ahead of the 2014 re-election.
