WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — Daniel Marteleto Godinho said.that the two countries could enhance their trade ties in the spheres of machinery, equipment, electronics and construction, underlining that Brazil definitely wanted to expand both its imports from and exports to Russia.
"Russia has always been a strategic, important trading partner to Brazil. Of course, both our countries are facing difficulties when it comes to the commodity prices, especially in oil. But the solution for this difficult moment we have is actually more trade. So, there are a number of products and sectors we should be looking at. And of course, we are willing to do so," he said.
