A typo on the front page of a Brazilian newspaper has immediately sparked social media reaction.

"The Ministry of Health does not experience a lack of vagina," that was the headline on the front page of the Brazilian newspaper "Diário do Iguaçu" on May 3. In fact, this is not a brave government proclamation; it is just a typo in a headline. It was supposed to be the word "vacina", which means "vaccine" in Portuguese.

Photos of the newspaper's cover with this fail spread through social networks immediately.

It is hard to believe that a newspaper like Diário do Iguaçu would be able to publish a title with such a ridiculous mistake. Since 1998, this newspaper has been considered to be one of the best in the south of Brazil, according to opinion polls. However, the official site of Diario do Iguaçu released the photo of the front page without an error. Perhaps some Internet users intentionally photoshopped the title for fun.

Nevertheless, the newspaper's editors definitely have a great sense of humor. The photo of the "disastrous" front page appeared on the Diário do Iguaçu's official Facebook page with a humorous comment from the editors:

"We understand that vagina is an important thing. But the vaccine is much more important."

Diário do Iguaçu readers have appreciated this response and editors' ability to get out of a tricky situation.
