Calbuco erupted and threw bursts of ash and lava on Wednesday and Thursday, forcing over 6,000 people living in nearby areas to evacuate.
Ash from the volcano clogged the air in the Southern Cone region of South America, causing delays and cancellations for flights to and from Argentina, Chile and even some parts of Uruguay.

The volcano is located in the region called Los Lagos. Calbuco spewed out 210 million cubic meters of ash throughout Wednesday and Thursday.

Forecasts say that the ash will keep moving northeast towards Argentina.
