How Cargoes Are Delivered to ISS

Subscribe
Currently, supplies are being delivered to the International Space Station (ISS) via four types of unmanned cargo spacecraft.

They are: the Progress-M type provided by Russia's space agency Roscosmos, the HTV of the Japan's space agency JAXA; the ATV developed by the European Space Agency, and the Dragon created by a private company called SpaceX.

However, a new vessel is about to join their ranks — Cygnus, developed by the Orbital Sciences Corporation as part of NASA's Commercial Orbital Transportation Services Program.
