Marine Le Pen, the leader of French right-wing National Front (FN) party and former presidential nominee, extended her condolences to the relatives of the victims of the ramming attack in Barcelona and urged to reestablish national borders of the European countries.

PARIS (Sputnik) — Le Pen stressed the necessity to chase the terrorists across the world, send the "fiche S" indicator (threat to national security attributed to an individual by police) to the countries of their origin within efforts to combat terrorism.

"The Islamist horror is more present than ever, but it’s out of the question to get used to it. On the contrary: every attack, every stolen or broken life should reinforce our determination to eradicate this barbarism. Every time we have difficulty to state the same thing, and nothing is advancing: it is urgent to give our states their national borders back," Le Pen wrote in a press release.
