Shopping Center in Germany's Schweinfurt Evacuated Over 'Suspicious' Person

A shopping center in the central German city of Schweinfurt was evacuated on Friday over a "suspicious" person having entered the building, local police reported.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) – The building was completely evacuated and the parking area was locked.

"Evacuation of the Stadtgalerie because of a suspicious person," local police wrote on its Twitter page.

The person is said to have been wearing dark clothes.

"All people, who left the shopping center, are being checked," police said.

Police also called on people to be patient.
