Seven Out of Ten Czechs Worry About Future, Poverty - Poll

Every seven out of ten citizens of the Czech Republic fear for their future, especially about possible poverty and uncontrolled migration, a poll revealed Friday.

PRAGUE (Sputnik) — According to the poll by the Pioneer Investments those who worry the most are women, people with low education and people aged between 33 and 40.

Over 62 percent of the polled are afraid of the consequences of the migration crisis in Europe, while 60.5 percent are afraid of possible terrorist threat.

As many as 56 percent of the respondents feel concerned about the uncertain development of the political and economic situation in Europe. In particular, 54 percent are not sure that they will keep their job.

At the same time, 42 percent of the polled said they hoped for improvement in their financial situation over the next five years.
