MOSCOW (Sputnik) – The European Commission is satisfied with the content and the rate of implementation of reforms in Ukraine, European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker said Tuesday.
"We are encouraging the Ukrainian government to proceed with reform process which is underway, we are satisfied with the speed and the content and the reforms which are pushed forward by the Ukrainian government," Juncker told a joint press conference with Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman.
Juncker added that the commission believed that local elections in eastern Ukraine were impossible without sufficient security measures.
