BERLIN (Sputnik) – According to earlier reports, the victims were in Nice for tourism.
"We confirm the death of a teacher and two schoolchildren of a gymnasium of the capital’s Charlottenburg locality in Nice," the Berlin Senate’s department for education, youth and science said as quoted by N24 TV-channel.
On Thursday night, a truck rammed into a large crowd that was celebrating the Bastille Day in Nice, France. At least 84 people, including children, were killed and dozens of others were injured.
