UEFA has opened a disciplinary proceedings against the Portuguese, Hungarian and Belgian football federations over fans violence.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) — The Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) announced on Sunday it opened disciplinary proceedings against the Portuguese, Hungarian and Belgian football federations over these countries' fans unacceptable behavior at the 2016 UEFA European Championship in France.

On Saturday, the match between Portugal and Austria ended in a 0-0 draw, Belgium beat Ireland 3-0 and Iceland played in a goalless draw with Hungary.

According to UEFA, the Hungarian and Belgian football federations are being charged as their fans set off fireworks and threw objects during the matches, while the proceedings against the Portuguese Football Federation have been opened over the field invasion.

The hearing for the Hungarian Football Federation (MLSZ) is slated for June 21, while the dates for other two nations' cases have not been set so far.
