MOSCOW (Sputnik) – The United Kingdom prepares to vote on June 23 in a referendum on whether it should stay in or leave the European Union amid rising disappointment with EU migration policies and a surging inflow of working migrants from the 28-nation bloc.
"It is the British public to decide but I personally think that France has perhaps a thousand times more reasons to seek exit from the EU than the Englishmen have," Le Pen said ahead of a meeting of European parties' heads in Vienna, as quoted by the TF1 broadcaster.
The leader of the National Front has been long campaigning on the anti-EU platform. In 2012, Le Pen suggested that all EU member states should halt the Schengen agreement. Most recently the right-wing politician promised to initiate an in-out referendum in France similar to the voting on EU membership in Great Britain within six month if she wins the presidential elections in 2017.
