PARIS (Sputnik) — Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko is set to meet French counterpart Francois Hollande during his visit to Paris on June 21, French Foreign Ministry spokesman Romain Nadal said Friday.
"On Tuesday, June 21, Foreign Minister Jean-Marc Ayrault will participate in the meeting of Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko and French President [Francois Hollande] in Paris," Nadal said during a press briefing.
Previously, on June 6, Poroshenko held phone talks with Hollande, as well as German Chancellor Angela Markel, on the issue of anti-Russia sanctions. They agreed to intensify negotiations on the implementation of the Minsk peace deal regarding Ukrainian reconciliation.
