UEFA Gives Russia Suspended Disqualification From Euro 2016
MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Wednesday that Moscow expects investigations of fan incidents at the Euro 2016 championship to be fair regardless of the country of origin of those involved.

"We hope that the championship will continue without any incidents. We also hope for fair treatment at all proceedings regarding incidents, and for all parties that may have been involved in these incidents to receive equal attention," Peskov told reporters.

"The most important thing is for no one and nothing to interfere with our team's efforts at the championship, that is the main issue, so that we all can root for our players," the spokesman noted.
