Slovenia Expects Putin's Visit on July 28 - Foreign Ministry

Ljubljana expects Russian President Vladimir Putin to visit the country on July 28, Slovenian Foreign Minister Karl Erjavec said Tuesday.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) — In 2016, Russia and Slovenia are celebrating the 100th anniversary of the building of a chapel to honor Russian captives, who were killed in an avalanche during a construction of a road.

"We in Slovenia are very pleased that Russian President Vladimir Putin will arrive at the memorial celebration on July 28," Erjavec told Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov at a meeting.
