MOSCOW (Sputnik) — A huge fire erupted on Saturday in London's district of Brixton after a reported explosion in a residential house, local media reported.
According to the Evening Standard newspaper, more than 70 firefighters arrived to the site of the fire after what witnesses considered to be an explosion.

The newspaper reported that the fire broke out at 1:19 p.m. (12:19 GMT) and was brought under control by 2:44 p.m. (13:44 GMT).
At least three people sought medical assistance and some 50 were evacuated because of the fire, the newspaper added.
