French flag carrier Air France announced on Friday that more than 80 percent of its flights both the medium and long-haul ones would be on schedule during the upcoming four days of pilot's strikes.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Air France pilots have announced industrial action over pay cuts from Saturday through next Tuesday. The strike will start on Saturday, a day after the opening of the June 10 — July 10 2016 UEFA European Championship in France. On Thursday, the airline's CEO Frederic Gagey said Air France would guarantee that 70 to 80 percent of medium and long-haul flights would be on schedule during the strikes.

"On Saturday 11 June 2016, Air France expects to operate more than 90% of its long-haul flights, 90% of its domestic and around 75% of its medium-haul flights to and from Paris-CDG [Charles De Gaulle], considering that 25% of pilots are expected to take strike action on Saturday," the airline said in a statement.

The company did not exclude that there may be "last-minute" cancellations and delays, and the updates were expected to be published a day before an initial flight was scheduled. The company also offered a service, which would directly inform customers on their mobile phones, smartphones or by email about the cancellation or delay of flights.
