MOSCOW (Sputnik) — The recent changes in the Ukrainian government have put additional risks in the likelihood of settling the political crisis in the country's eastern regions of Donetsk and Luhansk, Russia's envoy to the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe said Friday.
“The political situation in Kiev has noticeably changed over the last few weeks. The majority of various statements from political figures that additional possibilities of settling the situation in Ukraine come with the change of the government, but this also brings risks,” Alexander Lukashevich said during an OSCE meeting.
Lukashevich said that the creation of a so-called Ministry for the Affairs of Occupied Territories “calls for particular caution.”
