Greece Speaks Out Against UK Exit From European Union
LONDON (Sputnik) — On Monday, Greece returned first undocumented migrants to Turkey under a deal that will see one Syrian refugee resettled to Europe in exchange for one sent back to Turkey.

"The Prime Minister confirmed that additional UK personnel would be offered to Greece over the coming weeks to provide additional support," a Downing Street spokesperson said, commenting on Tuesday’s phone call between Cameron and Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras.

Cameron welcomed the start that Greece had made under the agreement. Tsipras thanked UK authorities for their assistance, saying the flow of migrants had reduced.

Greece’s coordinating center for migration estimated that the number of migrants in Greece had decreased from 52,451 to 52,352 people as of early Tuesday. It noted that more people arrived in Greece than were returned to Turkey – 225 arrivals versus 202 deportations.
