MOSCOW (Sputnik) – The 26-year-old was arrested on March 18 in Brussels after spending about four months on the run.
"He [Abdelslam] wishes to collaborate with the French authorities," Moisse told reporters, leaving the council chamber in Brussels, as cited by the iTele television.
On March 24, Abdeslam’s lawyer Sven Mary said he called to be hastily extradited to France.
A series of terrorist attacks were staged across Paris on November 13, 2015, leading to the death of 130 people and injuring over 350 others. The Islamic State terrorist group, outlawed in Russia, claimed responsibility for the attacks.
