MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Earlier in the day, a man wearing an ankle monitor barricaded himself into his apartment near the French school, when local police came to perform a regular check on him according to judicial orders.
"Regarding the Lyceum Gustave Monod d`Enghein, which is very close. Contrary to the information on Twitter, there has been no hostage-taking," the Parisien media outlet said.
According to the man’s wife, who managed to escape from the house, the suspect owns two guns, one of which he reportedly used to force police officers out of his home, the newspaper added.
