Two people were killed after a passenger train crashed into a crane in the Netherlands, local authorities said Tuesday.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) — The collision took place at 8:45 a.m. local time (07:45 GMT) at a crossing between the Dutch towns of Dalfsen and Ommen, Dalfsen Mayor Han Noten told NPO Radio 1 broadcaster.

According to the official, about 15 passengers were on board the train at the time of the crash.
