Dutch police detained on Friday a Brit for making bomb threats at Schiphol Airport in Amsterdam, local media reported.

German Police on Bomb, Gun Attack Alert Amid New Year’s Eve Terror Fears

MOSCOW (Sputnik) – According to the Dutch NOS broadcaster, the 29-year Brit was arrested after he had repeatedly cried that he had a bomb.

The broadcaster added that there was no explosive device found and the investigation into the incident was underway.

Because of the incident, the check-in process was delayed by some 20 minutes, but then it was resumed.
