Denmark Weighs Fighting Rape by Migrants With Voluntary Course on Consent
MOSCOW (Sputnik) — On Wednesday, Swedish Prime Minister Stefan Lofven asked the European Commission to urge other EU states to participate in redistribution of refugees from Sweden, as the country “has long taken an unreasonably large responsibility in comparison with other countries.”

“Every country has chosen its own course within the refugee area. They have chosen theirs and now they must deal with it as they’d wish,” Danish Foreign Minister Kristian Jensen said on Thursday, as quoted by the TV2 News channel.

Jensen added that the inspiration to cope with the EU refugee crisis was “probably the best help they can give” to Sweden.

On Thursday, Sweden’s Minister for Migration Morgan Johansson said the country has been struggling to provide enough beds for the record number of refugees crossing into the country from Germany and elsewhere.

Some 190,000 refugees fleeing war and poverty in their home countries are expected to arrive before the end of 2015, according to Swedish authorities’ estimates.
