Hungary to Send Buses to Shuttle Refugees to Austrian Border

The Hungarian government has announced that it will provide buses for refugees en route to the Austrian border.

After being stuck in two Hungarian train stations for days, forbidden from boarding trains bound for Germany, hundreds of refugees began marching for the Austrian border on foot on Friday. Fleeing war-torn parts of Africa and the Middle East, over 150,000 individuals have entered Hungary this year, seeking asylum in Western Europe.

On foot, the journey from Budapest to Austria takes approximately three days.
