Protesters Attempt to Break Into Ukraine's Parliament, Clash With Police
KIEV (Sputnik) — A Kiev court authorized on Wednesday the arrest of seven individuals suspected in active participation in violent riots in the center of the Ukrainian capital for two months without bail, an adviser to the interior minister said.

"The court arrested a total of seven participants in the anti-government provocations, planned mass disorders and armed attacks on police on August 31 outside the Verkhovna Rada," Zorian Shkiryak wrote in his Facebook blog.

Violent clashes between police and protesters on Monday outside the Ukrainian parliament killed at least three and injured over 140 people, mostly policemen and National Guard soldiers.
